I'm finding that I'm still really, really tired from my new medication and I'm not getting a lot of time to sew, but I'm more inspired then ever lately. I have like 100 projects in my head. Maybe more. I need to maybe start writing them down - before I lose them. This Thursday is our March meeting of the Portland Modern Quilt Guild (I can't wait!), and I also have a neurologist appt that day. I hope he can give me some insight, or advice, or anything.
In super exciting news, my Etsy shop - tabslot is sponsoring a giveaway at I Like Orange, Too! Check it out!!
Cheers all!
This quilt is going to be amazing. The colors are great and I love the two blocks you've made so far! Can't wait to see the finished product
ReplyDeleteThanks Angela! I can't wait to see it either, it's so counterintuitive for me to start with blocks instead of a cohesive design....
ReplyDeleteLove it - great idea with the X and O and the grid. It's going to be amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks Megs...I may be stalking your blog for more ideas about this one :) and thanks a mil for the little leftover squares - I can't wait to make those into something purdy!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of x's and o's! And this color scheme breaks my heart everytime I see it, it's so lovely. Your paper piecing looks great!
ReplyDeleteOh thx Christina! I do love the colors... as you can probably tell from my blog background. The paper piecing block has a few little chunks that I had to add on, but it will 'quilt out'.
ReplyDeleteI'm a bad friend, I didn't realize you see a neurologist. I have one as well, but have been bad and not gone in over a year. Whoops! I totally love the blocks! I think the colors are great and i'm looking forward to seeing the completed quilt!
ReplyDeletethose blocks look fabulous! i can totally relate that it took you a bit: that paper-piecing needs some special attention :-)
